The 39th Session of the WCRP Joint Scientific Committee (JSC-39) took place at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST). This is an annual meeting where the leaders of the WCRP research community discuss progress towards the Programme's objectives and make decisions that will determine the future direction of the Programme.
This meeting focused on the upcoming WCRP Strategy, aligned with the recommendations to be made through the WCRP Co-Sponsors review. A full day scientific workshop took place on Wednesday 18 April, in between the strategic discussions of JSC.
